Kids Ministry at Fellowship Church

At Fellowship Church our kids (infant through 6th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.

We would love to see you and your family visit Fellowship Kids. We have multiple opportunities for children to learn about Jesus and grow in their faith: Sunday Morning Bible Study time, Children's Church, Vacation Bible School and Awana Club. We have an occasional children's choir special during the morning worship service in the Worship Center.

Sunday Morning Bible Study

Sunday mornings from 9:00am to 10:00am our dedicated staff teach students about the love of God and His activity in the lives of humans. We use the Gospel Project for Kids as our teaching curriculum as well as various crafts, games and songs.

Children's Church

Students will begin in the worship center with their parents, guardians or responsible party at 10:15am as everyone participates in singing songs of praise and worship. At the close of the singing portion of the worship service, students, age 5 through grade 3, will dismiss for Children's Church. They will follow the leaders to the designated children's worship area located on the lower level of our facilities. They will participate in songs, prayers, Bible instruction and listen to stories from God's Word. After the close of the service in the Worship Center, parents will rejoin their students in the children's worship area.

Vacation Bible School

For 2021, Fellowship Church took our Vacation Bible School outside our building to a local park. We served food, sang songs, listened to stories of Jesus performing miracles and transforming lives, enjoyed water games in the hot sun, and created interesting craft projects suitable for all ages.

Awana Club

Awana Club meets on Sunday evenings from 5:00pm to 6:30pm (September through May, no summer activities) on our lower level. Each night has three main components: Large group story time, Small group scripture memorization time, and Game time. Students are broken up into age groups to facilitate better learning environments: Cubbies (age 3-5 years), Sparks (grades K-3rd), TNT (grades 4th-6th). The goals of our Awana club are to instruct students in a bible story and apply it to their lives, provide a structured reward system for memorizing scriptures which will impact their actions, and play fun team oriented games which help facilitate godly interactions between others as well as encourage healthy competition.

We also host our yearly Awana derby where students submit a pinewood derby car to race against other Awana Club members. Prizes are given for fastest cars, best decoration, etc. It is a great time of competition and celebration for everyone: parents, extended family, and club members.
